How to See How Well Your Book is Selling on KDP

Now that you have your book on KDP, you’ll want to check in on how well it’s selling.

• Kindle: This covers the sales of your ebook editions.

You’ll also see labels such as Free Units and Paid Units. The Free Units refer to copies of your book that were downloaded during promotions. The Paid Units reflect all of the actual purchases made by your readers.

Step 3: Explore the Sales Dashboard

The Sales Dashboard is a comprehensive tool that shows how many copies of your book(s) were sold and which countries your customers are in. The dashboard updates all of its data every day, so you can keep track of your book’s progress in real-time. Tracking the sales is a rewarding experience that reflects your hard work and creativity.
