Amazon partners with a number of printing facilities around the world, which are equipped with advanced machinery to create high-quality Print-on-Demand (POD) paperbacks and hardcovers. These printing facilities take care of everything from printing and binding to packaging and shipping. Once a customer orders a book, it is printed and shipped to the customer.
The way it works is that when somebody in Canada orders your book, it will be printed at a facility in Canada. If the customer is in Tokyo, it will be printed at the facility in Japan. This reduces shipping time and costs, making the whole process faster and more convenient for the reader.
